Clean Water Cannot Wait

Across Puerto Rico, countless families face an escalating water crisis where turning on the faucet no longer guarantees access to clean, reliable water. Years of hurricanes, earthquakes, aging infrastructure, prolonged drought, and climate change have led to severe water interruptions, impacting daily life, especially for older adults, people with disabilities, children, and families with limited resources. As conditions worsen, many churches have emerged as vital lifelines for these communities in need.

How ABHMS Is Responding

Through One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) and in partnership with trusted churches and community leaders across Puerto Rico, ABHMS is helping communities prepare before conditions worsen.
