Please Help Rebuild Rainy Mountain Kiowa Baptist Church

We need your help to restore a church home that means so much to so many.
On March 14th, a catastrophic wildfire, sparked by 70 mph winds and downed power lines, completely destroyed the Rainy Mountain Kiowa Indian Baptist Church. Despite the tireless efforts of local firefighters, the flames ravaged the structure, leaving behind nothing but charred ruins. Gotebo Hall, the beloved dining hall adjacent to the church, also sustained severe damage from water pressure and sustained winds.
This church was established 131 years ago and the structure, dedicated in November 1949 after a prior fire in 1948, has been more than just a building; it has been a home for fellowship for the Kiowa people, surrounding tribes and the community at large.
We are asking for your help. The road to recovery is long, but with your support, we can help to rebuild the Rainy Mountain Kiowa Indian Baptist Church. Your generous donations will go toward essential rebuilding efforts, including:
- Landscaping and clean-up
- Wiring and plumbing
- Construction
- HVAC (AC/Heat)
- Pews, Books, and Hymnals
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to restoring this historic church home of the Kiowa people.
We pray that you will join us in ensuring that the Rainy Mountain Kiowa Indian Baptist Church remains a place of worship, fellowship, and community for generations to come.
