Help ABHMS Reach Our Goal of Raising $150,000 to Support Debt Relief and Financial Education for Clergy

Lilly Endowment Inc. has awarded a $400,000 grant to American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) to extend the debt relief provided to clergy through the financial education program “In Support of Excellence.” The grant was made as part of the third phase of Lilly Endowment’s National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders.

The award provides $250,000 outright and Lilly will match, dollar for dollar, an additional $150,000 which must be raised by ABHMS. Your gift helps ABHMS to reach that goal, while continuing to develop financial education offerings to American Baptist clergy and help them to pay down debt.
